Beautiful Landscape Wayag Island Papua, Heaven on Earth

Hearing the name of Raja Ampat Islands, our imagination will be taken to a place with the underwater world that is very beautiful. Raja Ampat Islands is a place with the richest marine biodiversity in the world. This place is the habitat of 537 species of coral, 700 species of molluscs and 1397 species of fish. But not only has the beauty of the incredible underwater, Raja Ampat Islands also have a variety of stunning panoramic sea surface, such as those found in Wayag Island.

Wayag Island is located on the west side of the Raja Ampat Islands, and became an icon of the archipelago. This island is famous for the sea light blue and dark blue, combined with limestone islands with the trees, so these islands look like small mountains greenish. To enjoy the beauty of the Wayag Island, tourists can visit Coral Island, and climb the steep hill up to the peak. Fatigue that comes when climbing the hill to the top of the Coral Island will be paid after seeing the amazing scenery. Wayag Island can be reached by renting a boat from Sorong, with a travel time of about 4-5 hours. On this island there are no accommodations, so tourists who want to stay are advised to bring camping equipment, or live on other islands that have the Inn, as in the Waigeo island within 2-3 hours drive from Wayag Island. The important thing to remember, Wayag Island is located in a conservation area, so as to get into this area tourists must have an entry permit obtained by paying a fee of Rp 250,000 for domestic tourists, and Rp 500,000 for foreign tourists.
